I love the idea of being an online Avatar (A graphical representation of a person in the virtual world). It is a word that just sounds full of purpose and meaning. In such a visual world it is an exciting idea to create a visual representation of who we are with reflective consideration on what parts of ourself (inside and out) we want to present to the world.

Isn't it amazing how addicting avatars can be? I finally went and added a background to mine. I didn't the first time bc I spent waaaay too much time changing outfits! You are right, the reflective consideration of how we are represented is something to ponder--how do we want to be looked at vs. how do we see ourselve and what others see us as!
